Work order management in PowerERP provides you with a sophisticated tool that lets you manage jobs in a way that fits your process.
With Work Order management module, you can plan strategically and manage your shop floor by:
- Differentiating work orders by type, priority, and operation status
- Monitoring order performance by job/cost center, customer, manager, status, or other criteria that you define
- Creating as many status codes as you need for effective tracking
- Specifying multiple control dates
- Defining which costs will be charged to which cost centers at each stage in the life of a work order
- Identifying category codes to track requested item options, such as color, size, and/or style
- Combining your multi-mode (process, discrete, repetitive, etc.) shop floor into one system
The work order management solution helps you manage cost control, accountability, and cash flow. You are able to assess charges for labor, equipment time, inventory issues, and payable invoices directly to work orders for accurate customer billing and revenue recognition.
